Paper on Paper/Carta su carta

My afternoon lively from the colors with friend ... here's a demo gestural where grapes are obtained throwing confetti on the white paper(large "wedding" confetti) while  leaves are obtained isolating white with tissue paper ripped. Three primary colors, dripping and one large brush with loose gestures and plenty of water. Wait a bit before removing confetti ... and then with a blow dryer, confetti can fly in the air, happily discovering the whites to leave pure, or even to fill with grapes (rough Fabriano 35 x50)

  1. You make it sound very easy, Rita, but I am sure that there are still many things to consider every step of the way, and your instinct, achieved through years of experience guides you through the process. The result is a fresh and beautiful painting with lovely color fuses and interesting lost-and-found edges

  4. Dear Rita, Lovely to see you on my blog the other day. I'm a very happy grandma to have received such a splendid present. Our grandchildren bring so much joy into our lives.:)

I like what you have done here, and it must be fun to create in this way, and so fulfilling to share your knowledge with your student.:) The end result is most effective, allowing for various ways of interpretation. I'm sure you both had enjoyable painting experiences.:)
All the best Rita, and take care.
    Warm hugs. :) x
