Nessuna corolla è mai simile ad un'altra e questo carattere del fiore mi stupisce sempre.
Ho fotografato questi fiori in modi diversi, con la luce dall'alto, controluce ed anche con una fonte unica a 45 gradi, per ottenere una certa drammaticità.

Quando i primi fili d'acqua sembrano giusti, inserendo il colore inizia una pittura spontanea che
prosegue alla prima tutta di seguito.
Così ieri, nel pomeriggio, ho finito gli anemoni.
Guardando stamattina ho notato che mancavano di qualcosa ed ho cercato di migliorare i valori tonali.
Osservando meglio, ho deciso di tonalizzare il bianco carta (molto bianco) con qualcosa di neutro, che collocasse meglio i due fiori nello spazio.

Questo studio mi ha reso felice per la spontaneità del lavoro alla prima, che stamani con poche pennellate scure ha acquistato tridimensionalità.

No flower is similar to another, so each flower always amazes me.
I have many pictures of these flowers in some different ways, with light from above, backlight, and with a single source at 45 degrees, to obtain drama and values.
Looking at one of these my own images, I painted a study, starting from threads of water, without drawing.
I drew the flowers with water without color and then I started to add color and painting in a gestural way,"alla Prima".
So yesterday afternoon, I started and finished anemones.
Watching this morning I noticed that something was missing and tried to improve the tonal values.
Taking a closer look I decided to toning the white (too white) of paper with something neutral that would place better two flowers in space.
This study made me happy for the spontaneity of the work ...this morning ,after few dark brushstrokes, in a little time, it seems to have a better three-dimensionality.
