BOLD COLORS / A TINTE FORTI

Cosa diventa il mio lavoro quando nasce come acquerello e, ad un certo momento, "acquerello" è solo il nome del pigmento con cui ho dipinto?
E' pittura diretta, l'interazione tra carta colore e la mia mano.

E' la mia  ricerca, quello da cui imparo più cose e che mi diverte di più.
Tempo fa quando i colori diventavano troppo intensi ed in alcune aree del lavoro perdevo la trasparenza, avevo la tendenza a fermare il mio lavoro .
Adesso il mio obiettivo è imparare a  gestire questo colore intenso  nel modo migliore.

Winsor Red, Quinacridone Red Winsor&Newton...poi per finire(immagine in alto)  Rosso Quinacridone, Magenta Quinacridone,Winsor violet, Giallo Arancio e Rosso di cadmio, moltissima acqua per bagnare e ribagnare la carta....ho finito questo lavoro vicino al lavandino  per essere più comoda con l'acqua)

Studiando bene, giungerà il momento della trasparenza, dell'equilibrio tra troppo e poco.
Percorrendo il cerchio dell'energia che dà origine alle mie idee, arriverò anche io a mettere la  mitica B di bianco su certe aeree, come fanno alcuni acquerellisti (per gli anglofoni è la W di white), per ricordarmi di lasciare incontaminate le zone giuste all'inizio del progetto.

For final( first image) I used Quinacridone Red ,Quinacridone magenta, Winsor Violet ( some touch of Cadmium yellow,orange and red....and a lot of water for wetting paper ...I finish this work near the sink, to be comfortable ) 

I wonder what becomes my  work, which began as a watercolor and, at some time of work, watercolor is just the name of the pigment that I used to paint.
It is direct painting,   the interaction between the paper, the color and my hand.

This is my research, from which I learn more things and that I enjoy most.
Some time ago, when the colors became too intense and in some areas of work I lost the transparency, I had a tendency to stop my work.
Now my goal is to learn how to handle this intense color in the best way.

A maggio 2012, ho fotografato queste rose nel giorno del mio onomastico.

Ho dipinto diverse volte ispirandomi a questa fotografia, stampata in grande dimensione per lavorare meglio, come se io fossi nel giardino a dipingere. 

In May 2012, I photographed these roses in my name day. I painted several times, taking inspiration from this photograph,  printed in large size to work better, as if I were in the garden to paint.

After  studying well, the time comes to transparency and balance between "too much" and" too little". Along the circle of energy that gives rise to my ideas, I'll get the legendary "W" of white on some areas as some watercolorists do, to remind me to leave pristine areas, right at the beginning of the project.

intorno alla mia attività di pittura e oggi sono molto felice per  questo.

FLOWERS POWER

La pittura è un bel modo di investire il proprio tempo.
Nella felicità raddoppia la gioia e nei momenti difficili,  aiuta.
Sto studiando rose ed inizio con studi emotivi dell'immagine, senza disegno, senza volere qualcosa di preciso...Aspetto che le rose, come hanno fatto i papaveri, mi  rivelino se stesse.

La settimana che è appena passata è stata un momento duro per la nostra famiglia, vicina con il cuore, ma separata da 2000 chilometri.
Beatrice si è ammalata di una polmonite atipica che si è rivelata a causa di una colica, quando i batteri erano già proliferati nella pleura e nei polmoni.
Ora il drenaggio che è stato necessario per migliorare la situazione è stato rimosso...e la situazione si avvia alla normalità.
Painting is a great way to invest my time.
In happiness, painting doubles the joy and in difficult times, it helps.
I'm studying roses and early studies with emotional image, without design, without wanting anything in particular ... I'm waiting for the roses, as did the poppies, reveal themselves.

IN ATTESA DELLA PRIMAVERA / WAITING FOR SPRINGTIME

L'inverno è la mia stagione più difficile.
Quando una persona ha problemi di salute,può dimenticarli facilmente in primavera ed in estate, ma quando il freddo e l'umidità prevalgono, è difficile rimanere in equilibrio.
Qui la pittura, la serena ricerca sul colore e sul gesto, le ore nello studio, diventano un momento importante per superare disagi.
Qualcuno ha detto che la virtù è premio a se stessa.
Io potrei dire che per me la pittura, è premio a se stessa.
Dipingere rende più dolci le giornate difficili , quando respirare, per me, diventa così problematico.
Il colore, il senso della fioritura, nascosta  ora, ma pronta a rinascere, rende più belle le  mie ore.

Winter is my season more difficult.
When someone  has health problems, can easily forget them in the spring and summer, but when the cold and humidity come, it is difficult to stay in balance.
Here,  my  painting peaceful,   my research on color and gesture,  my hours in studio,  become
an important time to overcome diseases.
Someone once said that virtue is its own reward.
I could say that for me painting is its own reward.
Painting makes it sweeter, the bad days, when to breathe, for me, becomes problematic.
The color, the sense of the blooming, now hidden, but ready to  reborn, makes more beautiful  these my hours.

NEVE SUL TICINO

In questi giorni piove e c'è anche la nebbia.
Se la mancanza di luce crea qualche problema,  la buona volontà di chi dipinge non trova ostacoli.
Una fotografìa di un inverno passato, ed i colori sono sempre pronti per uno studio di neve, rapido e divertente.
Sto riprendendo l'abitudine di dipingere ogni giorno, ma lo studio è ancora in disordine, nel senso che gli oggetti non sono a portata di mano come vorrei.
Questa volta lavoro su progetti  a foglio intero, per cui i pennelli sono più grandi e tutti i materiali sembrano  più difficili da gestire. Dipingere su un piccolo formato è stato un momento rilassante.

These days it rains and there is also the fog. The lack of light  creates some problems, but the good will of those who paint, wins all obstacles.
A photograph of a winter passed, and the colors are always ready for a study of snow, fast and fun.
I'm taking up the habit of painting every day, but the study is still in disorder, in the sense that the objects are not at hand as I would like.
This time working on projects to full sheet, so the brushes are larger and all materials seem more difficult to manage. Paint on a small format, today, it was a relaxing time.

Adesso il mio problema è trovare altri dieci bloggers a cui  passare il premio ,scelta difficile per due motivi. Come richiesto dalle regole, io ora provo a dire 7 cose di me che non siano ancora di pubblico dominio....e mi domando se ce ne sono rimaste,dopo tanto scrivere...

Amo il caffè e la prima parte del giorno è modulata dal rituale del caffè...da sola,in compagnìa di mio marito che lo produce ottimamente con la macchina espresso, e al bar con qualche amica,durante la passeggiata del mattino

Il mattino per me è pigro, generalmente e prevede un paio di ore di commissioni e di artistica perdita di tempo fuori casa

Mi piace sciupare il tempo anche in studio per la mia ricerca creativa.

Sono una pittrice spontanea capace di fare un lavoro nuovo in due ore, a volte, ma dopo questi test sul soggetto, studio molte ore quello che devo fare per arrivare ad un acquerello che unisca la mia idea iniziale ad una accettabile realizzazione.

Ordine e disordine sono le fasi che si alternano continuamente nel mio studio, nella mia testa ed anche nella mia vita, a volte.

Il pomeriggio è il mio momento creativo, mi immergo nel mio mondo e le ore passano senza che io me ne accorga ...

Soffro di insonnia se spengo la luce dicendo... "ora dormo", invece un libro impegnativo, letto per poche pagine, mi addormenta inesorabilmente. Al momento attuale è un libro di psicologìa di Kay Hoffman.

According to the rules,  now  I'll write seven things on my personal life.

I try to tell 7 things about me that are not yet in the public domain .... and I wonder if there were , after all these posts ...

I love coffee and the first part of the day is modulated by the ritual of coffee ... alone , in the company of my husband who produces it well with the espresso machine, and at the bar with some friends during the morning walk

The morning for me is lazy, and generally provides a couple of hours of commission and artistic waste of time, out of the house.

I love the wasting time searching for my ideas....in my creative process.


I am a painter spontaneous able to do a new work in two hours, at times, but after these tests on the subject , many hours studying what to do , before you do that , to achieve a watercolor , combining my initial idea , to a good achievement.

Order and disorder are the stages which alternate continuously in my studio , in my head and in my own life at times.


The afternoon is my creative time, I dive into my world and the hours go by without me being aware of the time

I suffer from insomnia if I turn off the light saying "now I sleep", instead a difficult book to read a few pages, I inevitably fall asleep. At present it is a book of psychology  from Kay Hoffman.
